Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our client's team, specializing in fleet and vehicle management solutions.

Job Summary:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Sales and Operations teams, working with vehicle CCTV, fleet management, telematics, vehicle connectivity, and passenger Wi-Fi systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive electrical systems, with experience in testing and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customers' sites to perform installations of vehicle systems.
  • Service and maintain vehicle CCTV, blind spot detection systems, lights, beacons, and other safety equipment for commercial vehicles.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our products and their value to customers' businesses.
  • Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimum performance.
  • Work efficiently to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
Requirements:
  • Experience with 12VDC and 24VDC automotive electrical systems.
  • Previous experience in automotive electrical testing and installation.
  • Auto electrician qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) is desired.
  • Must have experience working with HGVs, LGVs, or vans, and a strong passion for working with vehicles.
  • Basic IT skills for inputting data into a system.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
