About the Role
This role is a vital part of ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facilities at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing essential mechanical systems across our various hospital sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute mechanical maintenance tasks according to industry standards (HTM's, HBN's, British Standards, Model Specifications) and Trust policies.
- Prioritize work on critical facilities like patient areas, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans, collaborating with other Estates teams.
- Supervise maintenance assistants and contractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and service complaints, providing timely solutions.
