Job Title: Lead MRI Radiographer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead MRI Radiographer to join our team at Ramsay Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of radiographers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of radiographers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct audits and quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for radiographers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Manage departmental resources, including equipment, supplies, and personnel, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and services.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration and a DCR or BSc (Hons) radiography qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in MRI radiography, with experience in cardiac and small bowel enterography and liver imaging.
  • Experience in managing a team of radiographers or as a lead in a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the department and patients.
