Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Solicitor to join our team at Legals 4 Lawyers. As a key member of our Commercial Property team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on commercial property matters, including development, plot sales, and landlord and tenant work.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a client portfolio through effective marketing, social media, and networking opportunities.
  • Deal with a broad range of client work, including commercial property sales, purchases, leases, and lease extensions.
  • Ensure all necessary searches are undertaken and submissions are made to the Land Registry.
  • Manage client expectations and risk.
  • Support the development of other team members and participate in CPD.
  • Represent the firm at local networking events and participate in charity events.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years PQE experience in a Commercial Property team, or substantial experience as a paralegal with a desire to learn about development work and plot sales.
  • Experience in business tenancy arrangements, commercial landlord/tenant work, party wall act negotiations, purchase of commercial properties for conversion to residential dwellings, land acquisition for commercial property development, and rezoning.
  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and orally, with a wide range of people.
  • IT literate, including the use of case management systems, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform to targets.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
