Senior Maintenance Engineer

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small engineering team and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Leading a small engineering team to ensure the maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment
* Developing and implementing planned preventative maintenance schedules
* Reacting quickly to machinery breakdowns and performing mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure production continues running
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

**Requirements**

* Strong hands-on background in mechanical and electrical skills directly related to operating in a 24/5 manufacturing environment
* Considerable working knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance and leadership experience
* City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Engineering or equivalent
* Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship
