Location: Morecambe
Contract Type: Full-Time, Immediate Start
Pay Rate:£80 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in our team at Ribble Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEN/SEMH, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Assist the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (preferably on the Update Service).
- Ability to provide valid and contactable references from previous employment.
- Previous experience working with children or adults with SEN or SEMH is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
