Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at GCS Associates. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including Sub Contractors, House builders, and builders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new client initial interactions and onboarding
  • Work closely with Branch Managers to identify new sales opportunities and develop existing accounts
  • Collaborate with other branches and Key Account Managers to ensure optimum use of stock and maximize sales
  • Authorised to make trading sales and margin decisions up to defined levels
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the construction or builders merchant sector
  • Strong business acumen and ability to build relationships with key customers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
