Senior Software Engineer - Fixed Income Trading

Our client, a leading proprietary trading firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their Fixed Income Trading team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge algorithms and systems that drive global fixed income and currency trading efforts.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with C++ 17/20 and UNIX/Linux systems optimization, with a strong focus on performance and network optimization in HFT. You will work closely with quantitative traders to design high-performance systems and troubleshoot complex, real-time trading environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain trading infrastructure for fixed income and currency desks.
  • Collaborate with quantitative traders to design high-performance systems in C++ and Python.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex, real-time trading environments.
  • Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability to support global trading.
  • Ensure seamless communication across UNIX/Linux systems, optimizing processor and network performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience building technology for fixed income trading.
  • 4+ years of experience with C++ 17/20 and UNIX/Linux systems optimization.
  • HFT experience is required.
