About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medication to patients in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication to patients from secure medication hatches
  • Provide medication management services, including audits and stock checks, under the direction of the Pharmacist Manager
  • Work autonomously within our standard operating procedures to provide a high level of patient care
  • Assist in the delivery of cost-effective prescribing and medicines optimisation strategies
  • Promote safe pharmacy practice within the prison, providing advice and training to patients and staff
Requirements
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages and Outlook
  • Ability to work 15 days every 4 weeks, with shifts between 7am and 6pm (10 hours shifts with 1 hour break)
