Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Team Manager to join our Fostering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a reduced caseload of supervising foster carers and/or assessments, supervising approximately three full-time social workers, and representing the fostering service in meetings across the agency.

- Represent the fostering service in meetings across the agency
- Support peer supervision and foster carer support groups
About You
We are looking for an individual with a degree-level qualification in Social Work, active Social Work England registration, and proven experience of supervising social workers in the context of children's social care/fostering. You will also have in-depth knowledge of the Children Acts, Fostering Regulations, and National Minimum Standards, with awareness of current policies and best practices in children's social care.
