Job Title: Childcare Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Childcare Tutor to join our team at Learning Curve Group. As a Childcare Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our learners.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a timetable of teaching, learning, and assessment as agreed with the Tutor Delivery Manager. You will also be required to undertake qualification delivery planning in collaboration with team members, ensuring compliance with all external requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure a positive learner experience and timely achievement.
  • Ensure individual learning plans and progress reviews are completed in accordance with individual learner requirements.
  • Monitor attendance and performance of learners on an ongoing basis and report to management.
  • Provide support systems to facilitate positive retention, achievement, and progression.
  • Complete all E-registers in a timely manner to the required standards.
  • Undertake learning and development activities as required for the job role and maintain a record of all CPD.
  • Contribute to learner disciplinary action requirements.
  • Promote and ensure safe working practices and safeguarding of learners in line with current Health and Safety legislation and LCG Safeguarding and Prevent policies.
  • Provide learners, customers, and colleagues with support, advice, and guidance as part of your everyday role.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification.
  • Hold an Assessing Qualification.
  • Relevant Occupational Experience in the Sector.
  • Level 3 and above Sector Qualifications.
