We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager with a strong background in both domestic and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing electrical installations and site activities. Experience with a Tier 1 company is preferred.
The Electrical Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing all on-site electrical works, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on time.
Key Responsibilities- Site Management: Oversee and manage all on-site electrical works for both domestic and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate on-site electrical teams, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient workflow and quality workmanship.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical works with overall project objectives.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that all electrical installations meet industry standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical works are carried out in strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures as needed.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, providing technical guidance and support to the on-site team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all on-site activities, including progress reports, safety logs, and materials usage, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant with company policies.
- Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients on-site, addressing any concerns or queries and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical site management, with a strong focus on domestic and commercial projects.
- Proven track record of managing electrical works on-site, including team leadership and project coordination.
- Experience working with a Tier 1 construction company is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.
- Full UK driving license and the ability to travel to various sites as required.
- Proficiency in using project management and site management software.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
