Position Overview:
As an Early Years Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding a diverse group of learners through their apprenticeship journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular visits and observations to provide personalized support.
  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that enhance the educational journey.
  • Utilizing our advanced Learning Management System (LMS) to track learner progress.
  • Collaborating with Learning Support to assist learners requiring additional help.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspiring and motivating learners to achieve their qualifications.
  • Implementing innovative teaching strategies that engage and challenge learners.
  • Managing a diverse caseload of learners in the Early Years/Childcare sector.
  • Building strong relationships with employer partners to enhance the learning experience.
  • Providing constructive feedback to support learner development.
  • Championing the use of workshops to promote skill enhancement.
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1).
  • A teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS, CET, Cert Ed, PGCE).
  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years/Childcare at Level 3 or 5.
  • Occupational competency at a senior level.
  • Experience in delivering exceptional teaching and managing a varied caseload.
  • Knowledge of End-Point Assessment (EPA) processes.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person observations.
