Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at AGM Construction Recruitment. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing structural engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement structural engineering designs, taking into account building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and provide technical guidance to project teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve project delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of leading and managing projects.
  • Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles, building codes, and industry standards.
