Job Overview

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit is seeking a dedicated and proactive Procurement Administrative Coordinator to become a vital part of our Procurement Team. This role is primarily focused on delivering administrative assistance to the Procurement team and providing project support to the Senior Procurement Manager.

Work Environment

While the position is based at our central office, after initial training, the role will predominantly be performed remotely, with occasional requirements for in-person meetings as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt and enhance the Transactional Procurement team to align with the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders, ensuring a reliable, compliant, and effective procurement service.
  • Provide a high standard of administrative support, including the conversion of purchase requisitions into purchase orders and arranging business travel.
  • Assist in the execution of Transactional Procurement initiatives and support the Senior Procurement Manager in achieving the annual operational plan, ensuring that key milestones and performance indicators are met.
