Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Immunisation team in Bromley. As a Vaccination Clinic Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering the school-aged immunisation programme, providing training and support to our team members, and ensuring the safe and effective administration of immunisations in the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the School Age/BCG immunisations programme, including administration of the inhaled influenza vaccination.
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of school, community, and home immunisation services.
- Work in the office on administration tasks associated with triaging, contacting schools, and recording data.
- Encourage children and parents/carers to participate in the immunisation programmes in line with the Department of Health policy.
- Ensure children and parents/carers have adequate evidence-based information to allow them to make an informed choice regarding immunisations.
- Participate in the school immunisation programme, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to, enabling safe and effective administration of immunisations in the school setting.
- Prepare and assist with immunisation satellite clinics held within the Trust.
Requirements:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills, who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is committed to working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work flexibly and be able to travel to different locations within the Trust.
