Salary: Up to £550 per week

Role Overview

Connex Education is collaborating with a prominent mainstream primary institution in Middlesbrough, seeking a dedicated Educational Support Assistant to become an integral part of their team. This full-time position will focus on supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) cohort, primarily working with two children on a one-to-one basis, addressing their specific educational needs.

This primary school boasts a vibrant and creative community. As an Educational Support Assistant, you will be welcomed by a supportive network of educators and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to assist teachers and provide essential support to pupils in the Early Years setting.

Role Details

This position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The successful candidate will join the team following the summer break.

Candidate Requirements

  • Level 3 Qualification or equivalent to work within EYFS
  • Experience supporting pupils in primary education, nursery settings, or healthcare environments
  • Confidence in working with small groups of children
  • Strong understanding of Additional Needs and the EYFS Curriculum
  • Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Connex
