Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to lead our installation projects nationally and guide our existing team to the next level of efficiency.

About the Role:

This is a key appointment that will support the next phase of growth for our organization, which prides itself on efficiency and speed of installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all installation projects nationally and manage a team of installation engineers.
  • Develop and implement efficient installation processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations, Head of Admin, and MD to ensure seamless execution of installation projects.
  • Manage installation projects from quote to site visit and site visit documentation to installation.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of installation projects, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage and maintain technical documentation, including installation procedures and technical guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and implement best practices in installation engineering.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with small team management experience.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • VMware and Hyper-V experience is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge of installation engineering, including networking, M365 administration, back-up and disaster recovery, VPN connectivity, threat and endpoint protection/security, server installation and configuration, Wi-Fi networks, and point-to-point networks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
