Tendering and Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Tendering and Design Engineer to join our team at Dutton Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating product drawing packages, quotations, and Bills of Material, while ensuring efficient production and delivery of equipped pillars.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain product drawing packages in line with customer specifications.
  2. Create accurate quotations and submit to customers, ensuring margins align with our client's business objectives.
  3. Specify components to create Bills of Material, ensuring accurate costing and profitability.
  4. Design products for manufacture, ensuring efficient production and quality control.
  5. Review and update drawing packages as necessary, reflecting changes and as-built status.
  6. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of equipped pillars.
  7. Visit suppliers and customers as required, maintaining strong relationships and resolving issues.
  8. Perform other duties as required to maintain or improve the efficiency, quality, and service provided by the PWP business unit.
Requirements:
  1. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
  2. Experience in liaising with customers and interpreting their requirements.
  3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  4. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  5. O Level in Mathematics, English, and Sciences.
  6. HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  7. HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (advantageous).
