Electrical Maintenance Manager

About the Role:
CV Library is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist in the performance of maintenance activities, installation, and repair as part of a team.
- Work in a complex environment where a strict maintenance instruction must be followed, ensuring the safety of others and minimizing the impact on plant.
Requirements:
- Minimum - City & Guilds / NVQ or HNC / HND Electrical Engineering - 18th edition.
- Preferably degree educated in an Electrical Engineering/Technical discipline - chartered or equivalent.
- Experience in budget monitoring, commercial awareness, and managing contractors.
- Previous work experience in the nuclear sector / industrial environment advantageous, specifically high voltage plant / equipment.
- Proven ability in the preparation of reports and information using packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Suitable relevant technical experience including the preparation of technical documentation, the review and approval of technical proposals and procedures, experience of construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Experience of supervising and setting contractors/sub-contractors to work in their roles and experience in leading a project team.
