Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our Financial Transformation and Strategy team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Trust's Waste Reduction Programme and will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial advice and support to the Transformation function and the wider organisation.
Main DutiesThe post holder will be tasked with delivering high-calibre finance support and leadership for the Trust's Waste Reduction Programme. This will involve working closely with the Transformation Team to ensure that the financial delivery of the programme is understood and that any potential problems with delivery are identified early enough for mitigating action to be taken.
The post holder will also be responsible for developing and maintaining financial performance dashboards, including monitoring of performance and providing advice on the financial impact of mitigating actions as necessary. Additionally, they will assist Directors and Managers in identifying and achieving efficiency targets, income generation targets, and ensuring value for money.
The post holder will work across the transformation function and other areas of the organisation, contributing to the development of the Trust's strategy and Finance department improvement plans. They will also participate in ad-hoc working groups on particular issues as required, representing the finance department.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' experience working within a finance setting. They will have a strong understanding of financial management and analysis, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A project management qualification (Prince or equivalent) would be desirable.
The post holder will be required to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and other healthcare professionals. They will need to be able to prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
