Under minimal oversight, this role is accountable for delivering proficient and effective training for Leidos personnel, clients, and/or users, while ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of company equipment and products. Responsibilities may evolve over time without prior notice and encompass, but are not limited to, the tasks outlined below.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Support

  • Provides technical assistance and may be called upon to manage escalations across EMEAI (may require out-of-hours support).
  • Conducts installations, maintenance, and upgrades of equipment as scheduled or as necessary.
  • Guides the formulation, modification, and execution of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Investigates intricate technical challenges thoroughly to deliver resolutions.
  • Adheres to all relevant RAMS for the training program.
  • Responsible for designing and executing all technical training programs (both internal and external) across a diverse array of products, technologies, and operational practices in accordance with Company Operating Procedure 22.
  • Facilitates courses for training technical staff and/or clients on the usage and/or maintenance and repair of all products. Training may occur in-house or at client sites throughout EMEAI. Regularly updates and reviews training materials to reflect ongoing hardware/software modifications.
  • Instructs participants on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Assists in establishing training objectives. Leads the creation of training course curricula (including outlines, handouts, assessments, etc.). Develops criteria for assessing the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Keeps records of training activities and employee progress. Collaborates with the Training Coordinator and provides training documentation upon course completion.
  • Administers written and practical evaluations and composes performance reports to assess trainees' advancement.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: MS Office, Windows Operating System, and Linux.
  • Understanding of electronic and mechanical assemblies, along with wiring diagrams, schematics, and complex digital and analog circuitry.
  • Familiarity with complex mechanical systems and testing equipment (standard power tools, mechanical/digital measuring devices, multimeter, oscilloscope, and safety equipment).
  • Excellent customer interaction, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written, in technical environments.
  • Preferred experience with high voltage and X-ray producing equipment.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering and/or developing technical training programs.
  • Knowledge of learning theories and proficiency in classroom presentation.
  • Prior experience in a similar environment.
  • Diverse technical background.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Completion of a technical trade school or military training.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driving license.
  • Possession of a full passport.
  • Ability to obtain airside pass with 5 years of employment references.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
  • Occasional lifting of heavy weights and ability to work non-standard hours and travel on weekends may be required.
