Technical Engineer – HVAC and Sustainable Innovation


About the Role:


A leading company specializing in HVAC protection, S-BMS, and sustainable solutions is seeking a Technical Engineer to join their dynamic team. The company is committed to environmental protection, delivering innovative products and services that enhance HVAC system efficiency while supporting clients in achieving low-carbon and carbon-neutral goals. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting technical operations, customer service, and product development, ensuring the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


Technical Engineering:

  • Respond to technical inquiries, review drawings and specifications, and identify optimal product solutions.
  • Engage in product selection, application, and sizing to meet client needs.
  • Provide both on-site and off-site technical support to customers.
  • Support Sales Engineers with technical expertise during client presentations.
  • Manage project tracking using the company’s sales management software.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team on new product development and commercialization.
  • Deliver training on existing products and support new product launches.
  • Assist with the preparation and management of demonstration equipment for sales teams.
  • Participate in marketing exhibitions, including potential opportunities for international travel.
  • Contribute to the development and proofreading of product literature, technical manuals, and training materials.


Customer Service:

  • Deliver fast-paced, high-quality customer service, aiming to provide technical information and solutions within 24 hours.
  • Offer timely and effective solutions tailored to customer needs.


Person Specification:

  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial water-based heating and cooling systems.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize diverse projects and tasks efficiently.
  • Team player with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a technical role, with a solid understanding of electrical and HVAC schematics.
  • Essential knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and network protocols such as Modbus, RS485, and BACnet.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers.
  • Self-motivated with high personal integrity and the ability to work autonomously.
  • A proactive, optimistic attitude with strong organizational skills.
  • Relevant technical qualifications are advantageous, but not essential.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
