Residential Architectural Technician

£30,000 - £40,000 + Package

TDM Recruitment is seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join a renowned private developer in the North of England. This exciting opportunity involves working with a forward-thinking company that prioritizes innovative design and exceptional customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and technical standards. They will collaborate closely with the design team, project managers, and contractors to bring the company's vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and developing detailed architectural drawings and specifications for residential projects.
  • Ensuring designs comply with building regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Assisting in the preparation of planning applications and other regulatory documentation.
  • Providing technical guidance and support throughout the construction process.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, preferably within the residential sector.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
