About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ecommerce Trading Executive to join our team at Manolo Blahnik. As a key member of our Ecommerce trading team, you will play a crucial role in driving online sales and conversion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective trading strategies to maximize online sales and conversion rates.
  • Work closely with the Head of Digital & Customer Experience to forecast sales and analyze key metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Product & Content Manager to optimize the mobile and desktop sites, improving customer experience and conversion rates.
  • Responsible for seasonal product launches, working closely with merchandising, production, and content teams to ensure timely and effective execution.
  • Manage the relationship with Globale from a trading perspective, ensuring smooth running at all times.
  • Ensure product listing pages are effectively merchandised, on-brand, and optimized.
  • Work with the Digital Content Assistant to ensure accurate and commercial product content is delivered on time.
  • Perform weekly quality control checks to maintain high standards across all sites.
  • Manage Ecommerce stock levels in line with sales performance, using insights to forecast and flag any additional requirements or issues to the merchandising teams.
  • Control Ecommerce stock, ensuring relevant stock is available to deliver sales plans.
  • Work with the Merchandising and Retail teams on future season buys, including best-seller reports and category performance analysis.
  • Develop product knowledge and expertise, working closely with the CS team, Retail, and Merchandising teams.
  • Ensure product photography and videos reflect key features and USPs.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing & Content team on product selection for emails and photoshoots.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service team and Hotjar to gain feedback and improve end-to-end customer experience.
  • Report and monitor sales, key metrics, and product performance for weekly trade meetings.
  • Support the Head of Digital & Customer Experience with the production of ad-hoc reports, including sales performance, returns, and analysis.
Requirements
  • Ecommerce experience with a focus on online product management.
  • Trading mentality with the ability to investigate and interpret analysis, implement change at pace.
  • Experience and knowledge of trading in both the US and UK/ROW retail markets.
  • Experience with analytical platforms and interpreting data.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of Ecommerce business drivers.
  • Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills.
  • Visual and aesthetic awareness.
