Job Title: Global Head of Regulatory Compliance

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic legal team as a Global Head of Regulatory Compliance. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with SRA regulations and other international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor global regulatory developments and ensure our organization complies with SRA regulations and other international regulations.
  • Create a governance framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze new regulatory requirements and develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement AML policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and provide training to staff.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare management presentations and communication on regulatory developments and potential challenges.
  • Submit regulatory reports associated with Tax and Immigration.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of Regulatory/Compliance at a senior level within an SRA regulated Global law firm.
  • Deep understanding of SRA regulations and some familiarity with similar regulations in other jurisdictions.
  • Experience in leading and managing complex compliance projects and designing and implementing global compliance / regulatory policies and procedures.
  • An understanding of international Tax and Immigration regulations and their application across global markets.
  • Advanced communication skills (verbal and written) to report regulatory compliance information, strong analytical mindset and investigative skills with sound judgment.
  • A qualified lawyer or law degree.
