About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Architectural Technician to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our Group Design and Technical functions, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery and maintenance of our Group standard house type portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery and maintenance of the Group standard house type portfolio, ensuring all drawings, details, and third-party information are accurate, commercially suitable, and compliant with current regulations.
  • Provide support in the delivery and development of the new Group "2025" house type collection and maintain them going forward.
  • Manage and review consultants working on the standard product, including architects and structural engineers.
  • Ensure cost-effective design control and buildability, anticipating and incorporating new regulation requirements as needed.
  • Support and assist in the management of the Group Technical mailbox and collate and check ancillary specialist drawings.

Requirements

  • Background in Architectural Technology and previous experience in Residential Housing sector.
  • Experience with Auto CAD and Revit is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to confidently challenge decisions made by others, and quick and eager to learn with a focus on continuous development.
  • Ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels, proficient in MS Office programmes, and analytical approach.
  • Positive attitude towards teamwork, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
