About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Architectural Technician to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our Technical Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and technical functions of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Group Technical Manager to manage the delivery and maintenance of our Group standard house type portfolio.
  • Ensure all drawings, details, and third-party information are accurate, commercially suitable, and compliant with current regulations.
  • Provide support in the delivery and development of new Group house type collections and maintain them going forward.
  • Manage and review consultants working on the standard product, including architects and structural engineers.
  • Manage the warranty Type Approval process and review approvals to ensure conditions are addressed.
  • Ensure information is to the agreed Group construction and finishing specifications.
  • Liaise with regional business units and attend meetings to progress technical matters and assist in resolving technical queries.
  • Provide support in the delivery and maintenance of Group generic Temporary Works details.
  • Ensure cost-effective design control and buildability.
  • Anticipate and incorporate new regulation requirements as needed.
  • Encourage continued change and improvement within the Group.
  • Support and assist in the management of the Group Technical mailbox.
  • Manage the collation and checking of ancillary specialist drawings.
  • Assist the business in achieving BIM Level 2 certification.
