Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Shift: Panama shift

Hunter Selection is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. With over 15 years of delivering quality service, the company is now expanding and investing heavily in production equipment and site growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and procure spares/parts as required and report back to the engineering manager.
  • Carry out and assist with equipment installations.
  • Maintain up-to-date housekeeping in the workshop and engineering storage areas.
  • Perform electrical-based tasks, as well as mechanical systems, pneumatics & hydraulics, fabrication, pipework, PPM, and reactive maintenance.
  • Carry out necessary maintenance/installation work on buildings/facilities.
  • Lots of overtime available.

Requirements:
  • Electrical bias.
  • Working knowledge and experience of mechanical systems, pneumatics & hydraulics, fabrication, pipework, and PPM.
  • Ability to read drawings, electrical, mechanical, and numerical.
  • Experience with PLCs not essential, as it's done by third-party maintenance system.

Electrical Bias: This role requires a strong electrical bias, with the ability to work on electrical systems, installations, and maintenance. Experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics & hydraulics, fabrication, pipework, and PPM is also essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles and be able to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
