Job Title: Technician - Machine Shop Specialist

Job Summary:

The Technician - Machine Shop Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and repair of aircraft components in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform a variety of maintenance activities and modification programs in accordance with trade qualifications and authorizations, using current authorized procedures as laid down in relevant approved source documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to team delivery of agreed targets and goals, and attend and contribute to team meetings.
  • Quality and Safety: Comply with Tool Control Procedures in accordance with relevant ABM procedure, and ensure that debris generated in their work area is removed/cleaned in a timely fashion.
  • Training and Development: Mentor/train any Apprentices as and when necessary, and ensure that continuation training is up to date and that packs are read and signed for.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.
