Location: Rotherham
We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team as a Water Services Manager, responsible for implementing legionella maintenance for a global manufacturing company. The successful candidate will have a strong background in water treatment and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring adherence to Legionella Control regulations.
The role involves serving as the primary liaison for water treatment and Legionella-related contractors, overseeing the cleaning and upkeep of cooling towers/systems. You will also collaborate within the Works Services team to coordinate and manage engineering resources, ensuring the availability of critical site services such as cooling water, steam, compressed air, and gases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring adherence to Legionella Control regulations for cooling towers and domestic water systems.
- Serving as the primary liaison for water treatment and Legionella-related contractors.
- Collaborating within the Works Services team to coordinate and manage engineering resources.
- Developing comprehensive schedules for planned maintenance, inspections, and training.
- Guaranteeing that all engineering operations meet health, safety, and environmental legislative standards.
We are looking for a strong and experienced engineer with a background in water treatment and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in engineering maintenance disciplines and a strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly in water treatment and Legionella control.
