Speech and Language Therapist for Children and Young People

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality speech and language therapy service to children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist speech and language therapy services to children and young people with complex needs, including those with severe language disorders and complex communication difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents and carers to develop and implement individual education plans that support the development of speech, language and communication skills.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address the speech, language and communication needs of children and young people.
- Provide training and support to teaching staff and other professionals to enhance their knowledge and skills in supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
- Work closely with colleagues in Health, Education and Social Services to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and young people with complex needs.
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification
- Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
- Health Care Professions Council - Licence to Practice
- Post graduate short courses in the provision of SLT to pre-school-age children
