Shipping Team Leader

Our client, a global leading organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Shipping Team Leader to join their team. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of shipping processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate shipping processes, including onward delivery and transportation of goods.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking of shipments, providing transparency to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular business updates on shipments to support revenue recognition and financial planning.
  • Lead and manage a team of 3, providing guidance and support to ensure successful team performance.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a team lead or management role, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Knowledge of product shipment procedures, including incoterms and export controls.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes, with a keenness to develop new skills.
