We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Neonatal Nurse to join our team as the Neonatal Education Quality and Improvement Lead. This exciting opportunity has become available on the Dyson Neonatal Unit at Royal United Hospital, Bath.
Main Duties- Lead in the assessment of safe, quality care and health education needs across the neonatal service.
- Manage a team of clinical educators to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate programs of education for neonatal staff.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate neonatal nursing pathways in collaboration with the wider team.
- Lead in the delivery of quality improvement initiatives to support local quality and safety indicators.
- Coach individuals and teams to embed continuous improvement in their daily work and within Specialist Interest Groups.
- Support further development and implementation of our Maternity and Neonatal Transformation Strategy.
- Collaboratively develop action plans to address areas requiring improvement aligned to key performance indicators.
- Establish mechanisms for evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs and training initiatives, utilizing feedback and outcome data to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular audits and produce reports to provide assurance of adherence to national standards.
- Coordinate and deliver educational sessions, workshops, and simulation-based training to enhance the knowledge and skills of neonatal healthcare professionals.

Requirements- Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife Registered with the NMC.
- BSc in Nursing.
- MSc or able to demonstrate recent study at this level or willingness to complete Leadership/Management related qualification or training.
- Qualification in Teaching and Assessing in Practice. Facilitating Learning & Assessment in Practice, or equivalent (at level 3).
