**Job Summary**
Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely production of Trust costs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collect, format, validate, and input activity and cost data to ensure the accurate and timely production of Trust costs.
- Assist in the submission of the Trust's National Cost Collection, meeting NHSE deadlines and ensuring compliance with NHSE costing guidance.
- Develop an understanding of the Trust's services in conjunction with the Head of Costing, Divisions, and Divisional Accountancy teams to produce accurate and meaningful costs at various levels of granularity.
- Collaborate with the Head of Costing to develop, maintain, and update a suite of costing and efficiency reports in various formats, supporting training to ensure these reports benefit the Trust's decision-making processes.
