The Role
Have you ever aspired to maintain a cutting-edge, purpose-built manufacturing facility?
If so, we present an exciting opportunity for you to work at our newly established Asphalt production facility. This role involves a Monday to Friday schedule with daytime hours.
In this state-of-the-art factory, you will have the chance to lead the engineering operations on-site, as well as travel to our other local Asphalt facilities to enhance and share the engineering practices developed from this new establishment.
As the latest Asphalt Plant within Aggregate Industries, you will engage with advanced equipment and have the opportunity to shape the operational practices from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include implementing a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and further developing the inventory management system to minimize downtime. You will participate in both reactive and scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations and have the chance to design and create your own workshop environment.
Who You Are
You are an experienced Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer eager to refine processes while being a hands-on specialist. This role will allow you to take a strategic approach as you develop a tailored stores system and PPM schedule that aligns with both your needs and those of the site.
You should possess an apprenticeship qualification or a Level 3 Mechanical certification. We are committed to your professional growth and will provide opportunities for further development through both internal and external training.
While basic fabrication skills are advantageous, we offer training and certification where necessary.
