Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Photonics Engineer to join our team at Darwin Recruitment. This role involves designing and simulating integrated photonic devices, collaborating with fabrication and measurement experts, and analyzing and presenting findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Simulation: Design integrated nonlinear photonic devices and simulate cutting-edge optical devices using tools like COMSOL, Lumerical, and MEEP.
  • Collaboration and Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and present findings, and work with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation.
  • Experimental Expertise: Leverage proven hands-on experimental experience to drive the development of new technologies.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in designing, simulating, and testing integrated photonic devices, with a strong understanding of quantum and non-linear optics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with simulation tools, skilled in Python for data analysis and acquisition, and cleanroom fabrication experience.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Quantum Technology: Experience with quantum computing, quantum technology, and photonics.
  • Photonic Devices: Knowledge of photonic integrated devices, nonlinear optics, and MEMS.
