About the Role:

Our client, a prominent Environmental Consultancy based in the UK, is seeking a Lead Environmental Advisor to enhance their team of skilled Engineers and Consultants.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a BSc or MSc in a relevant field such as Geography, Environmental Science, or Environmental Management. Experience in a UK-based consultancy role as an Environmental Planner or Advisor, particularly in the preparation and coordination of Environmental Statements and Impact Assessments, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Environmental Advisor, you will engage in various projects, including residential, ecological, water infrastructure, and renewable energy initiatives for diverse clients such as Local Authorities, Water Companies, and Private Sector Developers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments and preparing Environmental Statements.
  • Developing Environmental Management Plans.
  • Managing EIA projects, including tracking and overseeing project progress.
  • Conducting client meetings to discuss project development.
  • Regularly liaising with clients to ensure project alignment.
