This is a unique opportunity to shape long-term plans, investment, and collaborative action that cuts across sectors and scales in securing improvements to the water environment.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with regulators, water companies, farming, energy, and environmental groups to drive forward a programme of catchment and sub-catchment scale Environmental Destination investigations.

Specifically, you will help build trust between all parties involved in the programme to support the development of collaborative solutions and reach consensus around environmental aims.

You will also work within our technical and programme management team to develop a good level of understanding of the technical concepts and goals of the programme.

Act as our lead point of contact with agricultural sector representatives and the relevant teams within the Environment Agency and Natural England.

Support the development of a Water Abstractor Groups (WAGs) toolkit and Local Resource Option (LRO) screening studies.

Run our Agriculture Forum to develop a framework for integrating agriculture into our regional planning approach.

Support the team in the day-to-day running of our virtual office.
