Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Lead to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to nursing/midwifery staff within the Neurology and Neurosurgery service line.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide visible, accessible leadership to all nursing/midwifery staff within the designated service line.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager to ensure the provision of high-quality, safe, well-governed, productive, and cost-effective services.
  • Ensure the effective management of nursing/midwifery services across the service line, including governance, rota management, and budget management.
  • Provide senior nursing support to the specialty as required.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse/Midwife on the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Master's degree in nursing/midwifery or equivalent level of experience.
  • Extensive experience at manager level or equivalent managerial role.
  • Proven track record of being able to communicate unwelcome information and managing difficult situations sensitively.
