Job Overview

The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Pharmacist to join our team as a Clinical Informatics Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to lead digital transformation across the organization, working closely with the Chief Clinical Information Officer and other clinical informatics leads.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Oracle Health Millennium EPR on a shared domain with Barts Health. This will involve working closely with the Chief Pharmacist and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the pharmacy benefits of the EPR business case.

The Clinical Informatics Lead will also be responsible for promoting innovation and championing the development of a clinically appropriate information culture to enable change and quality improvement across the Trust.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Pharmacist with current Professional body Registration (GPhC) and extensive leadership experience working with CIOs, Chief Pharmacists, and other digital clinical leaders. They will also have a proven track record of managing clinical services and leading improvements in clinical settings, patient care, and experience across multiple specialties.
