About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Sales Recruitment Consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a range of timber and construction products to various main contractors, subcontractors, and retail trade end users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selling timber and construction products, including sheet materials, tools, bricks, adhesives, fixings, insulation, felt, fencing, cladding, drainage, paving, aggregates, ironmongery, and nut & bolts.
  • Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Assisting the branch manager with the day-to-day running of the branch.
  • Producing quotes for customers both in branch and over the phone.
  • Organizing product deliveries from the branch for drivers.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service is provided.
Requirements
  • Must have experience working within a management position within a branch.
  • Ideally will have experience with timber or building products, but wider construction experience will be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a good team player.
  • Initiative and autonomous approach.
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and hungry with a passion for the product and company.
