**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced construction professional to join our team as an Assistant Director Pre-Construction. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee the UK Gap Homes Construction Programme, working closely with the Head of Business for Gap Homes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage all aspects of the Gap Homes construction programme from inception to completion, overseeing Pre-Construction services including site viability, design and planning submissions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Effective procurement and management of consultants and contractors that support the design and construction of Gap Homes.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to lead and influence construction project implementation and completion.

**Requirements**

  • Experience of delivering construction projects within the housing sector is essential, with specific experience of smaller residential developments an advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as time management and the ability to prioritise workload and achieve deadlines.
  • A proven ability to lead and influence construction project implementation and completion.

**What We Offer**

In return for your expertise and experience, we offer a competitive salary of between £55,000 and £71,000 depending on your previous experience, as well as access to the pension scheme, annual leave, and softer benefits. Full-time hours are preferred, although part-time hours may be considered.
