We are currently recruiting for a weekend shift Quality Assurance Specialist for our client based in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Manage the Internal Audit system to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain internal software to optimize production processes.
  • Investigate any measurement or quality issues to ensure resolution and implement corrective actions.
  • Remain compliant with the Quality Management System and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Program and operate CMM machines to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Complete Inspection Reports for new products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain Quality Alerts, Visual Standards, and other Quality documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Attend and report at regular improvement meetings to identify areas for improvement and participate in root cause analysis.
  • Assist with New Product Introduction to ensure smooth transition into production.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to write and program CMM software to optimize production processes.
  • Understanding of Control plans and their implementation in the manufacturing process.
  • Knowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential quality issues.
  • Understanding of Root Cause Analysis (5-Why) to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Basic knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques to drive process excellence.
  • Ability to train and develop others on quality processes and procedures.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • 39 hours per week.
  • Flexibility is essential to meet business needs.

Salary:

£35,000 - £37,000 per year depending on experience.
