We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Relief Care Assistant to join our team at Margery Girling House in Felixstowe. As a Relief Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling our customers to maintain their dignity and independence, and lead fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to our customers, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Administer and store medication, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Conduct light domestic duties, such as bed making and laundry, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Support customers through temporary or terminal illness, providing emotional support and practical assistance.
- Assist with eating and drinking, ensuring customers' nutritional needs are met.
- Engage in social, physical, and mental stimulation activities, such as hobbies and recreation, to promote customers' mental and emotional well-being.

Our ideal candidate will be a great listener with a caring and supportive attitude, and a focus on the individual rather than the routine.
