About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Specialist to join our team at Connex Education. As a Learning Support Professional, you will work closely with a student who requires one-to-one tuition due to their medical condition.

The successful candidate will have a dynamic teaching style and be able to identify areas of improvement required when working on a 1:1 basis. You will be responsible for delivering sensory activities and building a rapport with the student.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-to-one tuition to the student in their home and occasionally in the local hospital.
  • Develop and implement a tailored learning plan to meet the student's needs.
  • Monitor and record the student's progress, making adjustments to the learning plan as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the student's healthcare team to ensure a comprehensive approach to their education.
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong ability to engage and motivate reluctant learners.
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Driving license (preferred).
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one.
