As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting inspections, testing, and measuring parts/components. You will also be responsible for verifying conformance to drawings and specifications, producing Non-Conformance Reports, and working with the Supplier Quality Engineer to resolve quality concerns.

About the Role: As a Quality Inspector, you will be working closely with the Production team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for inputting inspection data and information into the Quality database, verifying conformance to drawings and specifications, and producing Non-Conformance Reports. You will also be responsible for ensuring that metrology equipment is fully calibrated and for using the MRP system to transfer parts into stock/Quarantine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test parts/components to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.
  • Input inspection data and information into the Quality database.
  • Produce Non-Conformance Reports for failed parts and work with the Supplier Quality Engineer to resolve quality concerns.
  • Ensure metrology equipment is fully calibrated.
  • Use the MRP system to transfer parts into stock/Quarantine.
  • Participate in root cause investigation and corrective actions for supplier quality concerns.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working in a Quality team as a Quality Inspector. You will need to have used basic hand tools for measurement, be able to read and understand engineering drawings, and have problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work well on your own and as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
