Exciting Opportunity for a QTS SEND Teacher

We are proud to be working with a School that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QTS Teacher to join their team. The school provides a warm and positive specialist provision for children with Speech and Language Difficulties and Communication Needs.

The school's specialist care, therapeutic services, and curriculum provide support for children with complex learning difficulties and disabilities, allowing the teachers to offer an environment individualized to meet the needs of each student. The school creates a supportive and nurturing setting for each individual to develop both academically and personally.

The Head Teacher and SLT are strong and supportive when it comes to both their teaching staff and pupils on role, ensuring a healthy and inclusive environment for all.

This teaching opportunity will give you the chance to progress within a supportive environment, with an SLT Team devoted to ensuring the staff are looked after.

The Communication, Speech and Language Curriculum will allow you to provide a higher level of concentration towards the students, knowing you are making a positive impact on the students' educational achievements, in addition to their social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting young people with SLCN and Sp&LD traits
  • Experience working in a SEND environment
  • DBS on the update service
