Join Our Team as a Senior Technical Animator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Animator to join our team at Build A Rocket Boy. As a key member of our animation team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge animation solutions for our games.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with animation, code, and design teams to create immersive and engaging game experiences.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality animation systems, ensuring seamless integration with game engines.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying innovative solutions to enhance game animation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize animation-related tasks, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for internal and external use, ensuring clear communication and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in game development, preferably with a strong background in animation and game engines.
  • Expertise in Unreal Engine and proficiency in animation tools such as Maya and MotionBuilder.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, including keyframe animation, physics-based animation, and procedural animation.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, C++, and Blueprints.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
