Randstad Sourceright is currently recruiting a Logistics Administrator to work on behalf of a global company providing solutions for rail and road transport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring stock accuracy and control through annual stock checks and perpetual stock checks
  • Investigating and rectifying purchase order discrepancies
  • Contributing to stores continuous improvement activities
  • Carrying out asset transfers using CORMAP MMS, ensuring correct location of installed assets against production records
  • Polluting serial numbers where missing for rotating assets
  • Checking production recording sheets for completeness and ensuring new rotating assets are issued against relevant CORMAP work orders
  • Reporting configuration discrepancies to production supervisors using BDI status and drill-down tools
  • Highlighting missing fields in CORMAP work orders and running system reports to extract data
  • Assisting with CORMAP MMS administration tasks as required by the Bogie Service Centre

Preferred skills for the role include:

  • Previous experience in logistics or stores
  • General office skills and good organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in a factory environment
  • IT competence
  • SAP experience (desirable)

This is a 6-month rolling contract with a competitive hourly rate of £14.30. Work hours are 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm, with 40 hours per week.
